Week 12 - Optimisation and final touches

Throughout my process, I have been attempting to optimise my performance, by using lower resolution textures for smaller objects and trying to keep objects as low poly as possible. However, with certain assets such as the statues this has been difficult. I did not have enough time to go back at the end of the project to see if there was any further way to optimise the scene, as well as this, I didn't want to lose any detail. For final touches in the room I added in the melting candles. I sculpted them in Zbrush and then baked the high poly onto a lower poly version. I otherwise gave them a plain wax colour to keep the detail to a minimum on them.

I decided at this point that I was happy with the room and there were no further changes I wanted to make.
